A file on Jacob says he died 1 Feb. 1784, Fredk. Co., MD. This says Jacob had Lawrence, b. 1750 [?], but that doesn't fit if Jacob was b. 1737.
It does seem to fit that Lawrence, b. 1750, had son John (18 Feb. 1772 - 24 Aug. 1835, Fredk. Co., MD, bu. German Ref. Ch.) John m. Eliz. ZEALER & had Eve Margaret, Daniel, & Lawrence J.

With so many Christians, this is too difficult. Could you post the information on your first proven ancestors, with the maiden name of the wife and dates and places as specifically as you can. It's best to document each generation back from yourself.
