Richard, I hope this is of some help to you. Notice that what I found has Philip Hauptman and not Peter. No other Holtzmans in the indentures.

“The Republican Advocate” (Frederick Newspaper) Mar 7, 1806. Philip Hauptman, Fredericktown, offers reward for Samuel Holtzman, apprentice to the cordwaining business, about 17 years of age, 5 ft. 3-4 inches, dark complexion, down look.
