Still looking for ANY information on the John Collins who married Mahala Davidson in Dorchester Cty, MD on September 26, 1826. They had a son, James Richard Dennis Collins, born 1827. May have lived in or near East New Market. The 1850 census shows Mahala and JRD Collins living together, but no mention of John. JRD Collins, married Elizabeth Ann Mowbray in 1853. They had a son, also James Richard Dennis Collins, born Oct. 29, 1853. JRD Collins, the father, died at about the same time. Isn't there anyone who knows something about these people prior to 1850??? Thanks.
