I am researching the Jones family which has two branches I can see at this point. In 1831 Thomas Jones of MD married Rose Ann Jones of VA. Her parents were from VA--Charles and ? Fraser/Frazier. They all eventually went to Baltimore where they and most of their children remained. For many years they seemed to go between Dorchester County and northern VA--mainly Westmoreland Co.
Children of this family are Leah Jones (m Edward Randall of VA), Charles Wesley Jones (m Augusta Woolford), Thomas Jones (m Rosanna Travers), Amanda Brown Jones (m George W Tall), and Israel Berkley Jones (m Charlotte). I have descendants of all if anyone needs them.
I am trying to find the ancestors of Thomas and Rose Ann as well as any connection to Brown, (as the name Brown is in Amanda's name). Also I imagine a name such as Israel Berkley is a family name yet I cannot find it's connection. If anyone knows anything it would be a great help. Thanks
