I would enjoy corresponding with someone who may have known my grandparents: Fritz and Ella (BECKMAN) SIMONSEN. They resided in Cambridge, Dorchester Co., MD from approximately 1934 - 1942, having moved there from Ohio. Along with Fritz and Ella were their daughters: Edna, born 1912 and Hilda (my mom), born 1931. The family moved to Denmark, Fritz's homeland, circa 1942. Edna and Hilda returned to Cambridge in 1950. Edna married 1) Perry SMITH and 2) Orville PHILLIPS of Church Creek. Hilda moved to Canada and married there. There is an indication that a half-brother may have been born in Cambridge in the mid 1930s.
