Marriage Pullem - Trussler by Rev Weems 1844

On Friday, the 6th of Dec 1844 in Charles County Maryland by the Rev. J.E. Weems Frances Pulem to Miss Sarah Trussler, both of Falmouth, VA.

This clipping from a newspaper (probably Fredericksburg, since lower on the clipping is "Fredericksburg Prices Current" as well as a Marine List.

It seemed strange to me for the two to take a ferry across the Potomac River from Falmouth to Charles County.

Does anyone know WHERE in Charles County, Rev. Weems was the minister?

I keep wondering if there was some family connection in Maryland itself.
