Finley Family in Cecil County
Posted by: David Richmond (ID *****7888) Date: February 29, 2012 at 13:37:35

I am descended from Samuel Finley who immigrated to the US on the brig Eagle Wing from Dublin, Ireland in 1720. The ship landed at Newcastle, Delaware, but my information suggests he died in 1751 at West Nottingham, and was buried in the New Presbyterian Church Cemetery. His son, John, born in Dublin in 1710, married Rebecca Maskell in Cecil County in May 1731, and died in Stow Creek Township, Salem, New Jersey on 10 March 1757. Can anyone support or lend credence to this data?
