The Thompsons attended St. Stephen's Parish in Cecil County.

There was an Ephraim Thompson, son of John & Judith, who was born September 24, 1697.

There was an Ephraim Thompson Jr., 1st Lieutenant, Captain John Knight's Company of the 18th Sassafras Battalion of 1777. He probably received a land grant for service in the Revolution and moved to KY.

Ephraim Thompson in the 1766 Land Debt Books for Back Creek, a land tract called, "Bohemia Sisters."

1766 Back Creek Thompson Family = "Richard Thompson Sr. and 4 slaves, Richard Thompson Jr., Abraham Thompson, Richard Thompson (minor), Ephraim Thompson and 1 slave and 5 dogs, and Ephraim Thompson."

Cecil County Wills:

Ephraim Thompson, died 1788

Ephraim Thompson, died 1836

etc.
