Me again. I KNEW when I was writing my last that I was messing up. I was going from my database which I hadn't updated. I just fixed that situation! The Deed I mentioned was transacted on 4 Nov. 1719. At that time I believe John was single so the marriage to Evis would NOT have been abt. 1715. It would have been between 1719 and 1734. 1734 is the Deed with Evis's name on it. This 1719 Deed for 100 Acres was identified with the name "Largent's Neck". Since John Largent owned this land in order to sell it, he would obviously have had to buy it. No duhhhh, but I have not been able to find the record when and from whom that happened. The date on that sure would be interesting. BTWay. The Witnesses to this Deed were Stephen Knight who appears to have been the county clerk and an old familiar name, William EVANS. Was Evis an Evans??? Randy Largent Notify Administrator about this message?
