Did you find these deeds? I could not. In fact, couldn't find anything pertaining to early LARGENTs in this database, not that I've ever quite figured it out to well.
How much digging have you done on the really early lines. I've been wondering if they were Quakers due to their early relationships with the PENNINGTONs, who were. Also, have to wonder if they weren't related since they had relationships in both SC and MD/VA.
In looking at early LARGENTs in England (LDS site), I found some Clement LARGENTs which made me wonder if they were Catholic.
