I'm looking for information on the family of John Jones of Cecil Co. I found a website that posted information on his family, and I found this copy of his will:

Liber 27, folio 123
2 Nov. 1749
JONES, JOHN, Cecil Co, cooper.
To dau. Mary Jones, my best bed.
To dau. Cathariny Jones, my other best bed.
My lands are to be sold & the residue equ. div. among my chldn: Elizabeth Phillips, Cathariny Jones, Mary Jones, & Robert Jones, all of whom are to be my extrs.
Witn: Mathias Johnson Sr, Mathias Johnson Jr, James Morgan, Tho. Ricketts.
27 Nov. 1749, sworn to by Morgan and both Johnsons.

The other information that I found on him is that he was born in 1712, and from informtion about Catharine, it appears that the family was in Chester Co, Pa when she was born. It also stated that she was a Quaker, so I'm thinking this family was Quaker.

His wife was listed as Mary ukn, and from his will, she apparently died before him. Robert's birhdate was listed as 1730, Catherine's as 1732, no dates for the other two, but this would indicate that the children were still minors, so I am wondering who cared for them after John's death.

My primary interest is in Robert's daughter Priscilla who is listed, at the site I found, as married to Jonas Chambers. I think Jonas and Priscilla were my 4great-grandparents.

Any information on this family and/or the witnesses to his will would be greatly appreciated.
