Pat, thanks for such a prompt reply. I hate to be a pest, but is there any chance that Thomas and Andrew were in Orange Co., VA? I'm sure I've seen an Andrew in Orange records that I couldn't place with a family. Thomas and his siblings were mentioned in the 1786 Orange Co., VA will of a Wm. Scott who d. 1789. I'm thinking that my ancestor, Wm. Scott, b. ca. 1755, place unknown, just may be a son of the Thomas Scott mentioned in the above will. I can connect my Wm., b. ca. 1755 to the Orange Co., VA Scotts through 2 powers of attorney (one POA in 1794 from Patrick Co., VA and the other in 1810 from Wayne Co., KY) he gave connecting him to that family.

Again, many thanks for your help. KRB
