Thanks, I had not thought of this description as beilng that of a line and not the boundary of a tract, but now I thnk tyou are correct. I will continue to ponder this and you have certainly gilven a new insight. One of these days I am going to figure out where on the gtround this land is located.

I printed out the vaarious lenght and area definitions in the referenced site and thanks for that tip.
