There could be a match. I am related to a David Archibald (b 1765) (D 1826) (married in 1790 to Mary McMaster in Baltimore). In the 1820 census he shows a male child between 0 to 10 (My Great Grandfather John Harold Archibald born in 1812). He also shows 2 male sons between 10 and 16 and one son between 16 and 26. Of these sons there is a David born in 1806 (one of the 10 to 16 year olds). The other 10 to 16 year old and the 16 to 26 I have no info on. Perhaps one of those is the Robert you mention. In my research on this line of the Archibalds the names John, David, Robert, and James predominate. The original David I mentioned is buried in West Nottingham Presbyterian Church cemtery in Cecil County. Please share what you have on your Robert.
