Assessment Lists of Balto. Co., 1798, Middlesex Hundred, Robert McKINLEYS & brothers, 80 acres, part of "Ensigns Grove." [Middlesex was between Upper & Lower Patapsco, northwest of the city of Baltimore. You might want to trace the land records.]

MYERS' Marriage Licenses of Fredk. Co., MD, McKINLEY:
Eliz., John McGALVAIN, 3 Dec. 1778.
Margaret, Jacob FRIZZLE, 28 F 1780.
Wm., Christena HOFFMAN, 27 May 1809.

Carroll Co. was created in 1837 from Baltimore & Fredk. Cos.
