Piney Run Hundred - help to find town

Has anyone heard of a town in Carroll County called Piney Run Hundred?

Some Varner/Werner families lived here during the 18th century. It was supposedly pretty close to the Pennsylvania state line near what was then York County, but which I believe is now Adams County, PA. They had come from Germany Township (now in Adams County on the state border).

Some online biographies say it was near Blacks Corner, which is consistent with the town being near the state line and Germany Twp.
