Do you have any more clues about Joseph BROWN, such as names of his children, whom they married, and where they lived?

There were Josephs in Maryland very early. Robert BARNES' Colonial Families of Anne Arundel has a Joseph BROWN, son of Margaret _ & _ BROWN. Margaret m2. Joseph ISAAC, who died in Calvert Co., MD, by 23 Feb 1688/9. That's verified by MD Calendar of Wills, will of Joseph ISACKE, Calvert son-in-law (stepson) Joseph BROWN.

Robert BARNES' Balto. Co. Families, 1659 - 1759: Samuel BROWN of Balto. Co. by 1692, had son Samuel, who had sons Peregrine, 1715; James, 1718; Samuel, 1721; Samuel, 1724; & Absolom, 1727. / Aquila PACA (Jr.), who d. 1743, m2. Rachel BLAY, d/o Wm., who must have m1. _ BROWN because Aquila named son-in-law Peregrine BROWN, & the will of Rachel PACA, pr. 1745, named her son Peregrine BROWN.

You can Google Maryland Archives Online and find several entries for a Joseph BROWN of Baltimore Co., son of Peregrine BROWN.

Robert BARNES' Balto. Deed Abstracts, 1659 - 1750, also has several entries for that Joseph. At the time of his death, Peregrine BROWN owned Addition, Bachelor's Addition, Bachelor's Hope, Chilbury, & Waters Neck. These were all to be sold to satisfy debts. On 14 Oct. 1717, Maurice BURCHFIELD, Surveyor General of His Majesty's Customs in the Southern District of America, and joseph BROWN, late of London, merchant, son and heir of Peregrine BROWN, late of London, decd., conveyed 400 acres of Addition to James PHILLIPS.

Do you know who Reverend Jos. H. BROWN was? The Visiter, 16 Jan. 1840, had record of the nineteenth anniversary of the Young Men's Bible Society of Frederick Co., address given by the Reverend Jos. H. BROWN [Newspaper Abstracts].
