REED / REID with roots in Taneytown and Manchester MD areas

Looking for information or others conducting research on the REED or REID families with roots around the Taneytown Maryland beginning around 1730 through 1930. Farms were located close to Piney Creek - Big Pipe Creek just west of Taneytown proper, and just south-east of Manchester on the 1862 map. My brick wall are the definitive parents of George Reed (1782-1857) married to Mary Hardy (1783-1856); children include John Reed (1807-1887), Jacob Reed or Reid (1815-1888), Rachel Reed (1819-1893), and three other unnamed Reed daughters born between 1804 and 1810. Surnames married to this branch of the Reed – Reid clan include: HARDY, FOGLE, ALBAUGH, MILLER, SHOEMAKER, DERR, CRABBS / KREBS, YINGLING, NEWCOMER, HILDEBRIDLE, CLINGAN, ROWE, FINK, RIDINGER, CURRENS, HARNISH, SHANER, SLOANAKER, HILTERBRICK, DISE.

Any leads would be appreciated,

Leighton Reid
