I am looking for land records or other documentation for John Dodson who was a farmer around Taneytown area. If I had a better idea of where he farmed I would know where to look for other records. He left Maryland about 1790 to move to Penn. Some of his brothers served in the Rev. War.
This John Dodson had 6 sons and 3 daughters born in Md. who moved with him to Pa. about 1792-1793. I think his father might be buried around Taneytown some where. His family mostly marked graves with a large stone so there might not be a cem. reading that would include this family of Dodson.
