There were several Henry Beamers in Frederick County, Maryland around 1800. I'm inquiring if anyone is familiar with the Henry whose marriage is given in an extracted IGI record: Heinrich Bamer and Elizabeth Mack, 2 Jun 1801, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Taneytown, Carroll, Maryland Carroll County, of course, was only erected 1837, and Taneytown at that time was in Frederick County. Elizabeth was the daughter of Peter Mock (1737-1812) and (probably) his second wife Elizabeth. Her siblings were Peter Jr. (by Peter's first wife Maria Magdalena Erb), Christian (my ancestor), Mary, Magdalena, Samuel, Catharine and Abraham. During the intestate settlement of Peter's estate, Henry Beamer was named in 1814 as the widowed father of Elizabeth's minor children Catherine and John Beamer. He was in 1825 (mistakenly) described as deceased before Peter, so probably died soon after 1814. The daughter Catherine was married, by 1825, to Jacob Shriner. I'm interested in knowing Henry Beamer's ancestry, and would appreciate hearing from anyone with knowledge of this family. A duplicate response to this list and directly to my e-mail address would be appreciated. Paul Paul R.
