There are many families of Fredk. Co., MD, by 1830. Sort 'em out. :-)

Jacob STIMMELL was listed in the poll of the presidential election of 1796, Fredk. Co., MD [BRUMBAUGH's MD Records...]

Jacob STIMMEL was taxed 1798, Taneytown & Piney Ck. Hundred, Dist. 6, pt/o "Bedford" [HORVATH's Assessment Lists.] That's along the Pennsylvania border.
