No these names don't ring a bell yet. I am working on the pre 1800's. I think there was at least one or two families of Eatons in Carrol County when it was still Baltimore County. For example, an Isaac Eaton married a Margaret Metzger who was born in Frederick Co in 1781 which tells me that this Eaton lived near around Frederick County. But boundaries changed. Perhaps Isaac lived in the Old Baltimore County whcich bordered Frederick Co. and is now Carrol. I have spent most of my time trying to find Eatons from this time period in Harford County with very little luck. That may mean that these people were actually from the old Baltimore County which extended into Carrol County.
