Baltimore County formerly extended to Frederick Co. Finksburg was in the northeastern part of Delaware Upper Hundred, and Eldersburg was in the eastern part of Delaware Lower Hundred ["Particular Assessment Lists for Baltimore & Carroll Cos.," 1798, by HORVATH.] Carroll Co. was formed in 1837 from Baltimore and Frederick Cos. ["Handy Book"]
