I am seeking information regarding Shadrack DAWSON, born 1768, Caroline Co., MD. His parents were most likely William and Isabella DAWSON, formerly of London, England.
Shadrack DAWSON,and his wife Abigail appear in Accomack Co., VA in a tax list for 1787. They had three children, James, Robert W. and Elizabeth DAWSON. In 1808 a will for Shadrack is found in York Co., VA. He lists his wife Abigail, and his three children as heirs. James and Robert DAWSON, remained and raised their families in York Co., VA. I don't believe Elizabeth married.
Any information on Shadrack DAWSON's, "early years" in Caroline Co., MD would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
