I am looking for information on the Hoxter Family that interchanges with the Ross, Warner, Skinner, Emory, Hutchins, Henry,and May family names. Anything to do with the Hoxter name. There are other names that I do not know of but any information will be greatly appreciated. I have been stuck for some time trying to find any info.
My grandfather Roy married Hannah Ross around the turn of the century. He was born in Delaware, Hannah in Chester, MD.They moved to (Union) Goldsboro. There they had Zorabel, John, Watson, Emma, Alvin, Alta, Melvin, Mildred, Elmira, Anna Ardese, and Joseph Hayward. There was another brother, Charles and possibly another Eli(jah). I have no other information about them. Roy died sometime during the 1940's in Goldsboro, MD. Hannah moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1957. She died there in 1958.
John married Viola,lived and died in Goldsboro, MD. Watson married Liza Skinner, they had one daughter, Geraldine. Geraldine married and moved back to Maryland in the late 1990's she died about 2001. Watson and Liza divorced. He then married Helen Grenich of Denton, MD. Both died in Philadelphia, PA in the 1970's. Emma moved to Chester,she died in Media, PA 1986. Alvin died in the 1940's in Wilmington, DE. Alta died in 1983. Melvin died in Wilmington, DE in early 1970's. Mildred married Marshall Henry. She died in 1989 in Maryland. Elmira married Frank Jones in Philadelphia, PA. She died in 1982. Anna married Paul Brown. She died in Wilmington, DE in 1976. Joseph Hayward married Callie. He died in New York in 1983. This is the information I currently have on them.
