Lois, Do you have any dates on your Sarah H. Cox and her husband?
Walter Wm. Cox (26 Jun 1810 - 21 Aug 1873)had 3 wives, 1 of them was my Eliz. Hardesty (2 Aug 1811, mar. 1842, 29 Mar 1885). They are buried at Huntington Methodist Church. The other 2 wives were Eliz. Gray and Eliz. Bowen. One of his children (not by my Eliz. H.) was a Sarah Ann Cox. My Eliz.H's only children were Walter Daniel Cox (6 Jan 1845 to 28 Sep 1845) and Virgil Compton Cox (2 Apr 1848 to about 1889) who married Eliz. Jane Hardesty, they had 6 children.
The Cox, Hardesty and Stevens families all lived around Mt. Harmony, Md.in Calvert Co. Some lived on the current Cox Road. The Cox family goes back a long ways in Md., you may be able to find some Cox biographies.
