"Ray J. Rhynes Sr.
Ray J. Rhynes Sr., 76, of Lusby, died December 17, 2002, at Calvert Memorial Hospital. Born November 18, 1926, in Illinois, to the late James and Cora Haney Rhynes. He was the husband of the late Joyce M. Rhynes. Survivors include children, Ray J. Rhynes Jr., Avon Stewart, Lora Rhynes, Carolyn Gibbons, Royce and James Rhynes; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services and interment were private. Arrangements provided by Rausch Funeral Home, Port Republic."
