Al,

Here is what I have re: Florence Ann Dove, b. 29 June 1865, d. 23 Sept. 1953 Hyattsville, Pr Geo. Co., MD, buried Trinity Epis Chr Cem, Upper Marlboro, PG Co., MD: She was the daughter of John Thomas Dove [1826-1877] & Sarah Catherine Fowler [abt 1841 PG Co., MD, d. bef 1870].

Florence Ann married Henry H. Talbert, b. 16 Sept. 1862, d. 4 Oct. 1935 Upper Marlboro, MD, buried same. This info was taken from her death record.

Siblings I have for Florence are: 1) Cora Virginia Dove, b. 23 Nov. 1858 Calvert Co., MD, d. 23 Feb. 1941 Hyattsville, PG Co., MD, buried Trinity. Per her death record, Cora's spouse was Robert McKee, b. 27 Oct. 1848, d. 13 oct. 1915, buried St. Thomas Epis Chr Cem, Croom, PG Co., MD; 2) Mary A. Dove, bc 1863, age given as 8 yrs on 1870 census. On the 1870 census, Calvert Co., MD, only Cora V. & Mary A. shown under the hhld. of their father John T. Dove.

Most of this data came from a Calvert Co., MD genealogist who is now deceased & was done due to our connection with the Fowler family. There is a note in the file of John Thomas Dove which states that there was a Letter of Adm. on his personal estate, filed 24 Mar. 1877 with Cora V. Dove & John S. Smith as Admrs.

John Thomas Dove was the son of Elijah Dove & Sarah Howes [1802-1872]. both of whom were buried in a private burial ground on the old Howes farm in Dunkirk, Calvert Co., MD.

Hope this helps.
Rebekah Boyd
