That was my thinking as well (although I didn't know all of the details, such as the Leafe connection). I just wish that there was _one_ document I could find that linked the Williams family to Thomas Dew -- some mention in a deed, will, or something. So far all I have is Ann's last name and the fact that there doesn't _seem_ to have been another Ann Dew of the right age in the right place.

I'm always torn when this sort of thing happens; when do you give in and say, "well, I guess this must be right, I've exhausted the other possibilities?" I've been misled by that sort of thinking before...

Sorry, just thinking aloud. Still hoping for some documentation!
