The George who married Mary Burket North is my GGGGrandfather. He had at least two brothers: Samuel and Jacob who were in the Fairfield County, OH area until the mid-1830's and moved on to Indiana. Jacob died a batchelor. Samuel married Elizabeth North (likely the sister of Mary North, or possibly a cousin). Samuel and family dropped from sight and I have never found any clue to where they went - they had several children.
The family arrived in Fairfield County in the very early 1800's. I've recently found the many changes that occured in dividing up the state into counties at that time, so I see that I need to look for records in those counties also.
