I'm looking for information on Robert E. Shoemaker who was born Oct 1, 1857 in Loudoun Co., Virginia. I am trying to find out if he is the son of Samuel Shoemaker and Agnes Rebecca Merchant.
I have found Samuel and Agnes living in Owings Mills, MD in 1870, along with children, Eli (my g.grandfather, Marshall, Robert E., Lanton O., and Annie H.
I can't find Samuel and Rebecca on any other census. Samuel died 26 Feb 1906 in Owings Mills, MD.
I found Robert E.(sometimes listed as Edward R.) on the 1880, 1900, 1910,1920 and 1930 census in District 4, Baltimore County, MD.
Robert E.'s wife was Mary Dauberman and their children were: Agnes, Grace, Edw,Jessie R., Elmer, Ruther and Loretta.
Any help would be appreciated.
