My records show that James Crooke married Sarah Unknown 27 December 1716 in St. Anne's Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. They had 2 children, Chloe born 5 December 1717 and Charles born about 1719. My information shows that Chloe married Walter Riddle Dallas and that they had 2 daughters Elizabeth Riddle Dallas and Chloe Dallas. I also show that Sarah Unknown was married before her marriage to James Crooke to Dr. Thomas Major about 1703 and to Edward Burgess 12 January 1713. Her will was probated 30 December 1737 in Annapolis, Md. She mentions her son, Charles Crooke, grandaughters Elizabeth Riddle Dallas and Chloe Dallas, children of Walter Dallas of Baltimore County, grandchildren Sarah Chloe Raven, Mary Raven, Arabella Raven and Luke Raven, children of Luke Raven and Sarah his wife.
