I believe i connect to Griffith through his son Daniel(born 1774, D. 1857 in Medina, Ohio and (perhaps) grand son Thomas Stanley, brother of James Crabtree Johnson and possibly of a Harriett Johnson. My working theory is that James and Stanley moved west through Virginia into Ohio, ending in the Western Reserve. Any information that would shed light on Griffith or his children's movements would be appreciated greatly.
