Greetings--I am working with a patron who is seeking an obit for John "Jack" R. Wetzel who died 7 Feb. 1945, reportedly as a German prisoner of war. He is buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery. A Mr. Wetzel who lives in the Netherlands near the cemetery has located living Wetzel relatives for all Wetzel burials in this cemetery except for John/"Jack" whose parents were Jacques and Dorothy Wetzel from Cumberland MD; Jack was born in Cumberland ca. 1925. My patron is assisting this Mr. Wetzel in his search for living relatives of this family.
Any information about Jack and/or relatives, or an obituary, will be most appreciated.
