McWilliams death at Civil War Battle of Jonesboro, Georgia

I am looking for information on the McWilliams who died in the Battle of Jonesboro (Georgia)on August 31, 1864. He fought for the Confederacy under John Bell Hood. His wife was Nancy Hooper and his son was Bill McWilliams. If anyone can provide any further information on this man, especially his first name and possibly a d.o.b., I would very much much appreciate it.
