In the Sumner County, TN. GenWeb is listed a marriage of Samuel McWhirter and Narcissus Johnson. This is true but in the search section for Johnson on the bottom of the 4th or 5th page they say that Narcissus was the daughter of James P. Johnson and Priscilla Lumsdale this is not true.
James P. Johnson and Priscilla Lumsdale are my wifes great grandparents
The 1880 Sumner County Census shows a J Johnson and Percilla with daughter Narcissus 18. In the1870 Census for Wilson County shows a John Johnson and Percilla with Narcissus 7.
To protect the integraty of our family genealogy yours and ours this needs to be addressed.If anyone knows who to contact on this issue please do.
