Hello, I'm looking for the parent's of James Mawhorter/McWhorter born Jan. 04, 1801 in Washington County, Pennsylvania and died Oct. 23, 1876 in Noble County, Indiana.
I'm also looking for the parent's of his wife. James Mawhorter/McWhorter married Margaret McWhorter in Muskigum County, Ohio March 26, 1828. Margaret's maiden name seems to be McWhorter according to their marriage record, so it seems James married a relative or the widow or ex-wife of another McWhorter.
If anybody knows anything or has any information, let me know.
