Thank you for your reply. I apologize for not responding sooner as there has been a small family emergency so I was delayed.
This is really interesting to me and I will look into it tonight. There was a story that the McWhirters ran a tannery in Savannah TN before they came to Arkansas. Also Priscilla is a family name so this matches and is a wonderful lead.
