Looking for info on George McWhirter (and I have a tintype photo of him and one possibly of his sister) - He was the father of Margie Pauline McWhirter who was born 27 May 1858 in Tennessee. She died 29 Aug 1949, possibly in Texas. Her husband was Fernandes Perry, born 27 Feb. 1852 in Tennessee. He died 23 Nov 1919. They married 29 April 1877 in Tennessee.
