Four McWh*rters were listed as heads of household in the 1840 Census for Dyer County, TN. They were:
Moses – Age 20-30, and one female 15-20 (page 91)
Henry – Age 60-70, and two males 15-20, one female 20-30, one female 50-60 (page 91, next door to Moses)
A.E. – Age 20-30, and one female under 5, one female 20-30 (page 92)
George – Age 50-60, and two males under 5, two females under 5, two females 5-10, one female 20-30 (page 98)
None of these four were enumerated in Dyer County in either 1830 or 1850.
Seeking any additional information on these families and their relationship to one another.
