Hi Laura,
My great grandmother was Annie Gamble and according to my grandfather's (James Gamble's) birth register entry, 27 November 1890, her maiden name was McWhinney. She married Samuel Gamble, upholsterer and in 1890 they were living at 18 Fountain Place, Londonderry. Annie's mother, Jane McWhinney of Albert Place, was present at the birth.
Is my Annie McWhinney the same as the daughter of Margaret (nee Cameron) and Robert Mcwhinney?
