Hi Cathy. Have had the WORST time trying to reply to this message as I couldn't sign into this site for some reason.
Anyway--here I am. I am interested in anything about MCVOY--any branch, any timeframe--any location.

Mine were in America early on before the Revolution, yet
some apparently returned to Ireland or England as there
were immigrants named MCVOY coming into Mobile, AL well
into the mid 1800's and living with my MCVOY family who had been there since the mid to late 1700's. Perhaps they
were mechants or sailors?

I only have the info you sent on Edward. I do have another listing for an EDWARD MCVOY who was son of Dennis MCVOY who
came to NY in the 1800's. Bonnie
