MCVOY SURNAME:

WAS 'GUILLERMO'MCVOY/MCBOY of ESCAMBIA COUNTY,FLORIDA (circa late 1700's/early 1800's) the same exact person who was also
known as WILLIAM MCVOY who ran a sawmill in ESCAMBIA COUNTY FL before the CIVIL WAR?

I was told that WILLIAM MCVOY,SR. and son ALEXANDER ran this mill.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS WAS INDEED THE WILLIAM (or "GUILLERMO") who orig. came to
Pensacola from SAVANNAH in the 1700's??

WAS ALEXANDER MCVOY the brother of WILLIAM MCVOY JR. who was born in 1812 in PENSACOLA.
And was ANN MCVOY born in 1803 their sister?
SHE MARRIED CHARLES LEBARON.

Then years later, Wm MCVOY,JR. named his son
CHARLES LEBARON MCVOY probably in honor of
the first ANN MCVOY'S husband. He also named one of his daughters ANN.

WAS DIEGO MCVOY,SR (who was the son of JUAN/JOHN MCVOY-frm IRELAND and wf. ISABELLA/ELIZABETH MCVOY)of MOBILE,AL their brother?

My great grandpa was the son of WM MCVOY,JR
and his name was MARTIN NATHANIEL MCVOY,SR.

DIEGO MCVOY of MOBILE, named his one son MARTIN MCVOY(1814-1869) and I believe my
great grandpa was named in honor of him.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THE MCVOYS OF PENSACOLA,
THE MCVOYS OF MOBILE, AND THE MCVOYS OF NEW ORLEANS CONNECT?
