Looking for information reference Nellie McVoy born in June, 1862 or 1863 in Maryland. Thought to have been orphaned. Made her way to Lake Forest, Ill. marrying James Downs [Downs] around 1880 and homesteaded in SD. Died Willow Lake, SD in 1911.
