I don't know if this is any help, but anyways.
We are trying to find out more about the McVeen family history. We know that a ronald Forbes mcVeen , from York moved to Cobourg, ON in his life where he died. Trying to find records of him is almost impossible, but we found out that a lot of times McVean and McVeen is mixed. There is a link with John McVeen and his family, who was born in Toronto and moved to Amhurst Island and a Ellen McVean.
Records of this family are in Kingston where there are more McVeans and McVeens listed. There is a connection to Toronto with this family.
