My neighbors and I in Berkeley, California, formerly Oceanview or West Berkeley, are trying to learn something about the people who built our houses and lived in them. From assessors records, we've established that in the 1880s, three different McVays owned lots on our block and built on them. I'd be most appreciative for any information that would point me in the right direction.
