I to was a McTear before marrage My G Grandfather(James) changed from McAte(e)r during the 1880's while living in Glasgow His Father was Terance married to a Roseanne Sherry They were Roman Catholics but we have no idea whereabouts in Ireland they were from We believe James was the oldest(and maybe even the only)child Cherryl
