David Thomson ; Clan McTavish- Ayr Scot
Posted by: John Charles Thomson Date: June 17, 1999 at 17:00:47

David Thomson-B.10/08/1800;D.(?);Marriage date(?). Married Agnes Bryden-B.01/19/1802;D.(?) in Ayr's Scotland. Came to U.S. in 1867. Settled in Ransom Il. David Thomson is the oldest traceable relative I have found so far. Other information I have is that this line of Thomson is also a member of the Campbell of Argyll Clan, but not known how as of this time. David had six children: William-B.04/08/1827, David Jr.-B.12/24/1832, John-B.11/07/1834, Jane-B.07/01/1839, James-B.07/20/1841, Agnes-B.11/12/1846. If you can help with any of this information it would be a great help. My information after coming to America is about 75% complete but before leaving Scotland is 0% so even a possible lead would be great. Thanks for reading!
