Hello Deborah,
I realize a lot of time has passed since you posted your message. I just saw it as I was trying to find some family history dates for my daughter. If you are still interested in making contact with the family of John Alexander McTaggart, I believe I may be one of the relatives you are seeking. My paternal grandfather was John Alexander McTaggart, who married Florence Turner. Their children were John (Jack) and Jean. John was my father, a reporter on Fleet Street, married to Elizabeth (Betty) Blyth. I am their oldest daughter, Fiona, My brother, Colin, is 2 years younger. We emigrated to Canada in 1957, where we added another brother and a sister. Sadly, both Mum and Dad have passed away in the last 3 years, but their children are thriving.
