Thanks for the reply Christina. The John McSwain I have been trying to find died here, in Australia, in 1920. He was married to a Mary McKenzie - so I think they are different. I have just re-read some information that was sent to me and found his parents were Roderick McSwain, who was born in Inverness and who died in Victoria (Australia) and Annie, no other name. They are my great grandparents. Good luck with your searching. Rhonda
